Julia has been involved in various parts of Women’s Ministry forany years, from event planning, preparing meals, leading Bible studies, and a healing ministry to unequally yoked women, to writing and teaching Bible studies and messages of life and hope from God’s Word.
Julia has said that she feels like Jeremiah when he said,
But if I say I’ll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it! Jeremiah 20:9 NLT
My heart, my heart–I writhe in pain! My heart pounds within me! I cannot be still. For I have heard the blast of enemy trumpets and the roar of their battle cries. Jeremiah 4:19 NLT
We may not live in a place where war rages outside our doors everyday, but we do have a battle raging within our hearts and minds that affects life in this world and where we will spend eternity.
Many women have grown up with self-esteem issues. They find it hard to believe God can love them or forgive them for their past, let alone use them in some way to serve and further the Kingdom of God. I have been there. I feel compelled to share what I have learned and bring God’s message of love and hope, mercy and forgiveness to lost and hurting women.
You don’t necessarily need to walk outside your church’s front door to find the lost and hurting. They hide behind masks hoping no one will see their pain, shame, doubts, and fears. But God sees them all and He wants each woman to know He loves them just as they are right now. But He also loves them too much to let them stay where they are. He wants us all to find the FREEDOM that comes from a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
1Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:1-8 NASB
God’s Word is:
-The truth that sets us free from slavery to sin through repentance and faith in Jesus.
-A love letter from our Heavenly Father.
-Our instruction book for right living.
-The battle plan for winning the battles the enemy, satan, wages against us.
-The armor we wear to protect us in the battle.
-The sword with which we strike back at the enemies weapons of lies and deceit.
-Our comfort in storms, our encouragement, and our hope for the life to come.
