I just saw something on YouTube that got me thinking about this awful trend of “transitioning” children. You may or may not realize that the “transition” surgery renders the child sterile. How can this be happening? A child cannot possibly consent to such life-altering surgery, not to mention puberty-blockers and hormones that mess with their bodies and minds. I don’t understand parents going along with this! I have seen quite a few videos of trans people who have had the surgery who regret it. They will never be able to have children. Their bodies are mutilated beyond repair. They can have reverse surgery, but they will be broken, mentally scarred, and irreversiblely infertile.

We don’t castrate rapists or pedophiles because it’s considered cruel and unusual punishment. Yet the government has no problem castrating and mutilating America’s children. Some states are imposing laws that look to take away the parents’ rights and authority over their children and their well-being. Don’t even get me started on the indoctrination and grooming going on in schools and public libraries. This just should not be happening.

It’s so hard to understand what is happening here in the USA and around the works, until we read our Bibles. We’ve been warned that times like this would come.

In spite of these things, we’re encouraged to persevere in the midst of trials, to be overcomers by our faith in God, and to persist (continue, keep on, never give up) in prayer with joy and patience, for God is our hope. So, with this in mind, please join me in praying continually for this country, our leaders, school boards, teachers, parents, and especially our vulnerable children and grandchildren.

Almighty God, our Father in heaven, glory be to Your name. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, we humbly come before Yout throne asking for Your gracious strength to persevere in these troubling times. Many of our leaders profess to be Christians, yet their politics and ideals are far from You and Your Word. We seek You Lord on behalf of this country, our leaders, school boards, teachers, parents, and especially our vulnerable children and grandchildren. Lead them to a right relationship with You through Jesus, in which they would place Him on the throne of their hearts and allow Him to guide their every decision without fear. Be with every parent who is faced with a child wanting to be the opposite sex and give them wisdom and resources to do what is right for the child. Most kids pretend to be different things as they play. It doesn’t mean they want to take drastic steps to become that irreversiblely. Lord, show members of our legislatures what is good and right regardless of the agendas of groups that want to legislate sin as normal and legal. We know that You are good all the time and also that these times must come where sin and lies run rampant in our world. Keep us, Your people, strong and courageous as we face these trials, that we may persevere and be overcomers in Jesus. May we live our lives on fire and fear-free for Your names sake. Thank You, Lord. Hallelujah! Amen.
